Reed Valve Stage6 NBR
This two-petal reed block complements your Stage6 setup and supports the cylinder charge if you have a 19 mm carb or higher. The layout is based on the one of the reed blocks included in the well-known induction systems. Included in the delivery are the NBR-reedvalve with Stage6 glassfibre reeds, two stuffers, and a second set of glassfibre reeds. NBR is used as standard for all kinds of rubber connections in engines.
V-Force3 reed valve.
Stage6 together with the US manufacturer Moto Tassinari, who is famous for high performing reed valves in the field of motocross engines, have developed the V-Force3 reed valve. The double V-reeds construction is patented and thanks to its huge inlet diameter and an optimized airflow it provides much better filling of the crankcase. To ensure maximum power output you should fit the 28mm Venturi insert that is included in the package. An evolutionary step-up for 50cc two-stroke automatic engines.

Revised reed blocks with increased flow, vulcanised as Sport PRO version with NBR or as R/T version with Viton to be used with fuels that contain a high percentage of alcohol. Included in the delivery are three stuffers with 24.26 mm and 28 mm passage; the version for Minarelli engines additionally
comes with a 4 mm spacer to be mounted under the reed valve. This results in better cylinder charge and improved scavenging of the boost port with fresh charge. The Sport PRO version comes with 0.35 mm and 0.40 mm glass-fibre reeds and the R/T version is delivered with 0.35 mm carbon and
0.40 mm glass-fibre reeds.

The short-Stage6 Piaggio inlet
is a beneficial and equal alternative to other more expensive models from other manufacturers.
A short inlet the crankcase causes a better response, and the inlet speed is further
moved upward, resulting in more performance. The share of so-called bio-gasoline
has risen in recent years. Bio-petroles allow the addition of up to 20% pure alcohol,
which is aggressive against the gasoline standard NBR rubber compounds makes. NBR
alcohol differs with the time. To counter this trend needs Stage6 Development offers
in future articles that are heavily exposed to gasoline (membrane blocks the inlet
..) in a slightly more expensive but alcohol and heat resistant FKM (Viton) mix.

CNC-milled intake spacers made of anodised
aluminium in a choice of colours, for mounting the carburettor to face straight to
the rear wheel. The intake tract is designed to improve flow characteristics. Delivery
includes intake rubber made of Viton that fits Stage6 R/T and Stage6 Dellorto VHST
carburettors.
For 19 mm and 21 mm carburettors,
Stage6 offers a fitting short intake manifold to be mounted directly onto the reed valve.
Intake System Stage6
No matter which carburettor you want to use the Stage6 Piaggio
intake system is your choice! The kit includes 2 intake manifolds and Venturi inserts
that are adapted to the respective reed blocks. These Stage6 products make it possible
to easily mount all common carbs to your Piaggio engine. In order to get ideal engine
response, the intake tract has been kept as short as possible. Furthermore, the manifold
is equipped with boost bottle/ vacuum and oil connections.




When upgrading to a larger carb one usually needs to convert to a different intake manifold. The manifold is an integral part of the intake system, just as is an ideally suited reed valve. Our inlet system is extremely flexible as far as the size of the carb is concerned.
